The "Immediate Send to EHR" button is a convenient feature available in the DocuCare mobile app that allows you to directly send your notes to the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system as soon as they are created. This button appears on the note generation page after you've finished recording a patient conversation.

How It Works

When you use the mobile app to document a patient encounter, the AI in DocuCare will automatically generate a clinical note based on the conversation. This process typically takes about 70 seconds to complete. To have the note sent to the EHR as soon as it has is ready, you can press the "Immediate Send to EHR" button to instantly push the finalized note to your EHR system.

What to Expect

  • Processing Time: After you finish recording, there is a short delay as the AI processes the conversation into a comprehensive clinical note. This usually takes around 70 seconds.

  • Sending to EHR: Pressing the "Immediate Send to EHR" button will automatically upload the note to the EHR as soon as the note has been created. This helps streamline your workflow by eliminating the need for you to wait for the note to generate before you send it to the EHR.
